UiPath Studio is the desktop design application that developers use to create automation workflows.

• Developers drag and drop visual building blocks called Activities (such as Click, Type Into, Read Range, or Send Outlook Mail). • The workflow is organized visually like a flowchart, making it simple to follow the business logic from start to finish. • Studio includes testing and debugging tools so developers can step through their workflows and fix errors before releasing them.

02UiPath Robot (Where You Run)

The UiPath Robot is the execution software installed on the computer where the automation actually happens.

• It reads the workflow files created in Studio and carries out the instructions. • It controls the keyboard and mouse, launches software, and reads data from screens. • It can run in the user's desktop session for attended tasks, or quietly in the background as a system service for unattended tasks.

User-Mode Robot

Runs under the logged-in user profile, suitable for interactive desktop attended tasks.

Service-Mode Robot

Runs as an official Windows Service, ideal for unattended server VM pools.

UiPath Assistant

The desktop companion interface allowing business users to start attended automations.

03UiPath Orchestrator (Where You Govern)

UiPath Orchestrator is a centralized web portal used to manage, schedule, and secure an organization's entire robot fleet.
